Step One- Understanding how listing renewals work.
To ensure you don't get charged for insertion fees twice it is important to understand how insertion fees work and when is the best time to remove your listings. All your eBay listings renew automatically after 31 days, this is the point where you'll get charged an insertion fee or a shop limit credit will be used. You can see when a listing renews by going to your active listings on eBay and scrolling to the far right hand side. If you remove a listing before it renews, then you won't get charged an insertion fee.
Step Two - Understanding how your shop limits work.
If you have an eBay shop, the shop resets on the 1st of each month. So for a featured store you'd get 1500 new listing credits on the 1st, as your listings renew throughout the month, these would get used up. You can see from the image that this store has used 1323 listing with 177 remaining for the month.
Step Three - Picking the best time to remove listings.
If you are using a shop and are replacing your whole inventory, we recommend to remove all listings on the last day of the month. This means that on the 1st you can re-list with the brand new listing credits and it won't cost you a penny more.
If you are just removing a few listings, the best thing to do is to remove the listings the day before they renew. You can then replace them with new items the next day and it won't of cost you anymore.
Step Four - Removing the listings off eBay.
To decide which listings to remove we recommend selecting ones which have a low number of views or watchers and ones which have been active for over a month but not sold. You can find these by heading to your active listings on eBay and clicking the heading titles to sort them. You then just need to select all using the tickbox, then from the "actions" dropdown, select "End". This will end the listings on eBay.
Step Five - Removing the listings off Lystr.
To remove the listings off Lystr is very straight forward. All you need to do is a health check, please view this guide if you are not sure how to do this - Health check guide
Once you have completed a health check the listings will come up as "ended on eBay" on your Lystr account, you can then delete these in bulk.
Step Six - Replacing the listings.
To replace the listings you just need to follow the same process which you do for adding new products. We recommend doing some product research before importing to Lystr to find the best products.
Once you have found your products, you need to follow the process of adding to existing listings. Please follow this guide for more information on this- Adding new listings guide
