Registering for a Lystr account.


1 - Head over to: https://lystr.co.uk/register/eBayAISignUp

2 - Fill in your account details.

3 - Enter your business information. 

If you're starting out, now is the time to choose a business name.

4 - Choose your plan.

You can then follow the very simple guides to get selling, we'll also send you the join chat link to the online community if you opt for the £15pm option, you'll have 3 experts in the group to answer your questions along the way as you build & scale your store.


It's strongly recommended to start on the 250 listings - £15pm package to be able to gain traction & grow faster.

On any plan of £15 and up, we'll help you get everything set up as well as helping you choose 250 of the best selling products. 

5 - Choose your marketplace.

We currently only support eBay UK.

6 - Enter your PayPal Email.

This is the PayPal address in which you would like to accept payments.

If you haven't set up a PayPal account yet. Then use the email that you would use for your new PayPal account.

7 - Choose your item location.

This is the address in which you operate from.

Step Eight - Payment Details

If you have selected a paid plan then now is the time to enter your payment information. If you're on the free plan then just click the start button to get going!

Step Nine - Profit Settings

Profit Markup:
Your chosen profit margin, For example, if you have it set to 10 then you will make 10% of the purchase price. We recommend using the default settings.

eBay Fee: 
The fee you are charged by eBay per transaction (%).

PayPal Fee (%): 
The fee you are charged by PayPal per transaction (%).

PayPal Fee (Fixed): 
The fixed fee you are charged by PayPal.

Quantity in stock: 
This is the number you would to have in stock on eBay.

Round Up:
Will round up the price to the nearest whole number.

Offer Settings:
Beta - Leave alone.

Listing Settings:
The location of your item and the payment email address.

Setting up your eBay business and paypal account.


Step Sixteen: You can skip this step if you already have an eBay business and PayPal business account.

Sign up for an eBay business account here: https://reg.ebay.co.uk/reg/PartialReg

Be sure to select "Create a business account". Follow the steps through and create an account.

Step Seventeen: Sign up for a PayPal business account: 


Again, follow the steps through until your account is created.

Step Eighteen: Head over to eBay and opt into the eBay seller hub. 


Step Nineteen: Opt into eBay business policies: 


Please skip this step if you do not have a business eBay account.

Step Twenty: Opt into the eBay global shipping program. This enables you to sell internationally.


Step Twenty One: Set up your out of stock preference. 

Go to eBay, then site preferences and at the top select "Yes" next to the "Use the out-of-stock-option". Then click "Apply".

Step Twenty Two: Subscribe to an eBay shop. Although not a requirement. If you're starting out, we strongly recommend you signing up for a "Basic" eBay shop. 


Step Twenty Three: Opt into the eBay file exchange. 


After you have finished this step, please let us know and we still start adding the products to your Lystr account. You can contact us at info@lystr.co.uk.

Adding your products to your eBay account


Once we have told you your products are ready to be listed, please follow the steps below.


Step Twenty Four: Head over to Lystr, go to your "Inventory Page" and select "Product Creation CSV". Clicking the button will automatically download your file. 

Step Twenty Five: Head back to eBay and go to your File Exchange. 


Step Twenty Six: Select "upload Files" followed by "Choose File" and select the creation file which you just downloaded from Lystr. Click "Upload" and your items will not be created on eBay. 

Your items should now be active. If you can not see them in your active listings or have any issues then please email info@lystr.co.uk for assistance.

Pairing your eBay listings with Lystr.


Step Twenty Seven: Head back to the file exchange and go on the "Download files page". Click the dropdown menu "Listings and records" and choose the option "Active". Change the "Download format" from standard to "File Exchange" and click "Save". .

Step Twenty Eight: On the File Exchange. Under the "Download" section. Go to the "Completed downloads" page. Find the newest download and download the file. 

Step Twenty Nine: Go back to Lystr and click on the "Pair" page. Click browse and upload the file which you have just downloaded from the File exchange. Select upload and wait for the file to upload.

Step Thirty: Head back to your inventory and you'll now see that the eBay item ID has been populated. Your eBay listings are now in sync with Lystr.
